GEP (Grantt Engineering Products Company, Inc) is an automotive filters and accessories manufacturer founded in 1981, which headquarter is located in California, United States of America. In 1988, Malaysia UMW Group took over the company and engaged in development and manufacture of auto parts and lubricants in Malaysia, which is supply a high quality automotive product for the local major original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and original design manufacturer (ODM). Over more than 30 years, GEP’s product has widely used in industrial, automotive and ship sector, its product quality has been recognized by a wide range of industries.

In 2010, UMW Group of Malaysia joint venture with a Dah Chong Hong Group of Hong Kong and set up the most advanced lubricant blending plant in China, it is fully designed and project managed by eeG, a well known German Consultant with an investment of USD20 million. GEP is certificated with ISO 9001:2008 with a very stringent quality management process and solution oriented customer service. It’s also certified with ISO 14001:2004 with environmental management system meeting or exceeding international and local requirement. Meanwhile, a certified of ISO/TS 16949:2009 is fully meets the automotive and motorcycle oil development and production quality management system.
