During January 18 ~ 20, 2013, Toyota Forklift China Dealer Summit was convened in Lijiang, a beautiful city of Yunnan Province, and about one hundred top-level representatives attended the meeting, including presidents of Toyota forklift dealers across the country and officers of Toyota Industries Corporation, Toyota Tsusho Corporation, etc. The meeting was opened with the address of Chairman Oonishi, Toyota Material Handling (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.. Chairman Oonishi, together with the attending representatives, looked back upon the global marketing of Toyota forklift in 2012. Amid the setback of the global market, Toyota forklift witnessed moderate growth, and its global market share was raised from 18.3% to 18.8%. With economic recovery, it is estimated that by 2020 China’s market will become a huge market whose annual sales volume will be increased to 390,000 sets, accounting for 30% of total sales volume of the world, so China’s market is of great significance. Then President Watanabe gave a description of the policies and the items to be implemented in the new year.
In the evening, all of the attendees were present at the Banquet & Excellent Dealer Commendation Ceremony, in which Chairman Oonishi and President Watanabe awarded the medals to the excellent dealers and had a group photo with them. The banquet came to its climax in the speeches delivered by the dealers’ representatives, and all dealers expressed their full confidence about the future sale under the direction of new policies for 2013. At last, they raised their glasses to celebrate the passing year’s brilliant sales results and wished Toyota forklift a new rise in the year of Snake.

    The next day all attendees climbed up to the beautiful, splendid Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and left their footprints on the mountain top covered with heavy snow, approx. 4,700m above sea level. To fulfill the future objectives, all staffs of Toyota forklift will also, with the spirit of climbing the mountain, work hard and unite closely to develop the products and services for the customers，spare no effort to win full trust from the customers, and welcome new challenges towards its set objectives.
